NV's Inspiration

Nikki’s philosophy of life is what fuels the lyrics of NV Music. The words to Nikki and Sean Vukovic’s songs are open to interpretation as each individual relates them to his or her personal reality and gives them meaning! The lyrics touch upon experiences that everyone tends to go through, so Nikki’s positive attitude can indeed stir up a crowd!
Open Your Eyes starts off on a melancholy tone, empathising with others who are feeling lonely and devoid of love. However, the song alters into a hopeful rendition of life that challenges the listener to open up to love again and indeed become alive!
No Regrets further reinstates the message in the former single released. Opening up to love can indeed be less than a paradise, however in loving we find our strength and power as human beings. The two qualities are reflected in the song’s melodies that are both uplifting and energizing!
Society could often be a source of pressure to be someone we are not, be it the way we think, look or live our life, thus damaging our self-esteem and individuality. The single If I Could stands out as an assertive and powerful message that is incongruent with such oppression. The key to a fulfilling life is to be in touch with yourself, believe in who you are, accept and love yourself; knowing that you wouldn’t be happier being other than that – yourself!
The NV vibe asks you to see the bigger picture in life. Undesirable experiences don’t need to turn ugly, they can wake you up to what is missing in your life and spur you on to fill the gap!
