Why NV?

Nikki Vukovic’s initials conveniently articulate a word, ENVY. However, Nikki’s choice of stage name is not accidental. She intentionally wants to convey a message!
Although the word ENVY has notorious connotations and often devastating responses, Nikki explains that ENVY is like a mechanism that pits us against each other as if we were in some kind of competition. It’s an overwhelming and powerful sentiment. “Handling it the wrong way can leave you feeling insecure, inferior and broken, but if you handle it the right way, it can empower you! It all boils down to perspective”.
In the case of positive ENVY, this feeling becomes a constructive experience that helps you to discover yourself, develop your self-esteem, acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses and ultimately accept yourself for who you are in the quest for personal self-actualisation.
With positive ENVY, that initial feeling of discontent is converted into a feeling of admiration towards those people who strived to achieve what they really wanted in life and in turn these become a source of example, encouragement and inspiration to do likewise. In this sense, positive ENVY acts as a driving force that leads us to take definitive action towards achieving our personal goals. It is this ENVY that helps you to believe in yourself and gain the necessary confidence to achieve.
Positive ENVY is the driving force behind NV’s (Nikki Vukovic) musical venture and the source of energy that helps her be the best she can!
